Company sells to the USA, Canada, and Latin America.
Before choosing
a lathe, consider the diameter of the work that will rotate (swing) over
the bed, the diameter of the work that will swing over the cutting tool
carriage/cross slide, and the length to be held between centers. If your
parts are big and heavy then you should also consider what is the maximum
weight that machine can hold. If your workpiece is very long you could
put it thru the spindle bore and buy buy a lathe machine that is half
the length of your longest shaft to work on.
Sadly, American
made lathe machines are not being manufactured any more due to the high
costs. But great quality lathes are being made in Taiwan now if you need
to do tight tolerance work and minimize runout. Affordable Chinese made
lathes are also popular now that their quality has improved enough for
most jobs. The difference in price exceeds the small difference in Chinese
quality. Please call us for advice. Our lathe salesman is a former machinist
