Special Purpose Punches and Dies - scroll down this page
This webpage features GooseNeck Die Punches that are designed with extra space for bending channel shapes. We also have Hemming dies, Flattening dies, and Offet Bending die sets down below.

Click for General Purpose 30 degree Press Brake Punches and Dies
Acute Dies are the most universal type of press brake dies. Recommended as a starter set. Make air-form bends from 30 degree to shallow bends, and also for first operation set in hemming.

Click for General Purpose 90 degree Press Brake Punches and Dies
Commonly used for forming 90 degree bends. Forming bends greater than 90 degrees is also practical by air bending.

Click for 3 Way Dies and 4 Way Bottom Die and Die Holder Tooling
These bottom dies are for standard straight bending and radius forming. The slotted ones can be used as Die Holders.

Goose Neck Shaped Forming Punches
These Gooseneck Punches are ideal for channel forming in 2 strokes, or for making special shapes wherea straight 90° punch would interfere. Dimensions show width of face and length of return flange. Any further cutback beyond the center line will increase the length of return flange, but reduces the work capacity of the punch.

Options:
* Hook Tongue:
recommend when using a segmented punch in press brakes that are fitted for hooked tongue tooling.

* Flame Hardening: recommended where extra durability and wear life is needed (such as bending alot of stainless steel).
* Polishing: recommended when forming materials that require minimum marking (a substitute for urethane strips).

General Purpose Flattening Dies
Flattening Dies are used to complete a hem or to bend to a given degree of closure a previously formed acute angle. 2 dies are used, both of the same part number. Be careful not to bottom out flattening dies longer than necessary because it can overwork the hydraulic pump and be hard on the press bed. Call 1-773-334-5000 to order
